Conrad painted this plein air watercolor painting on a vacation to Arazona with Paula while visited relatives. It’s a view of Verde Valley looking south from the little private airport in Camp Verde. For three straight mornings he was able to slip out & & sit on the ridge of a hill & enjoy painting the view of the valley before it got too hot.
