This is a reproduction of the original artwork Wm Conrad Bowen created in about 1975 in a 14”x11” Academie Sketch Diary. Later he painted a larger original watercolor painting of this same subject. Currently, no reproduction of this larger painting is available.

Conrad created this simple powerful B&W sketch & watercolor on location in one setting on a drawing & painting excursion to the Jensen Historical Farm in Wellsville, Utah. He did it as a student & understudy of Jon Anderson, Glen Edwards, Harrison Groutage & Marion Hyde while attending Utah State University pursuing an art degree in advertising, design & illustration. One thing all these instructors emphasized, at the time, was the ability to draw & capture images & ideas; in his 45-year career as an art director, creative director, advertising design executive & — fine artist, that’s what Conrad has tried to do. His crisp execution of “Jensen Farm Truck” is one of Conrad’s most prized works!
