This watercolor painting of the beautiful pine trees at Creekside Park in Bountiful, Utah was started & finished in Conrad’s studio in July, 2019. He painted it referencing photos he took in February. His father passed away in February so it was a busy month with little time for painting — and it was really too chilly to paint on location. Sadly, in the summer of 2022, Utah experienced a sever drought; it was so acute it killed almost all of the pines in this tiny tranquil isolated forest. Conrad’s so happy and glad he captured this snowy memory with paint on paper in time!
