17”x11” Full-Color Fine Art Edition Printed on White 80 Lb Paper Cover Stock

This is a reproduction of the original artwork Wm Conrad Bowen painted in a bound 5.25” x 3.5” Tumuarta Watercolor sketchpad he carries regularly in his cargo pants pocket so he can start painting anywhere on the spot.

Conrad painted this watercolor sketch in Paradise, Utah, across the street from grandma’s house. It was a beautiful day in mid-September & Grandma had hired a crew to come trim back the shade trees around her house. I was there to keep an eye out for what was happening & answer any questions the crew had along the way. They knew what they were doing & I soon figured out I could paint while they were doing their job. Walking around the front yard, this view captured my interest across the street. In a short order, I grabbed my camp chair, table, & pulled my sketch book, paints & brushes out of my pockets & I was in business. The only interruption I had from time-to-time was a noisy chainsaw & a branch crashing to the ground across the street. When I was a little kid, my sister & I would visit our great-grandpa everyday who used to live in the house in front of these sheds – lots of fond memories of this neighborhood & days long gone!

Click on the photo, the sheds are in the background to the right. Move the view a little to the left and zoom in a couple of times – there you go: the sheds in real (Google) life!
